Roughriders Take Three of Four in Road Series at Three Rivers

Poplar Bluff, Mo. (April 16–17, 2026) — Crowder College Baseball turned in an impressive weekend on the road, winning three of four games against Three Rivers College behind dominant pitching, aggressive baserunning, and timely hitting.


Game 1 – Crowder 4, Three Rivers 2 (April 16)

Crowder opened the series with a complete team performance, earning a 4–2 victory in the opener.

Seth Carlson was outstanding on the mound, going the distance and allowing just two runs on six hits while striking out four to improve to 5–3 on the season. Offensively, Crowder collected nine hits and used speed to manufacture runs.

Spencer Mounce supplied the lone RBI, while doubles from Camren Stratton and William Beaudoin sparked the offense. Crowder sealed the win with a pair of runs in the seventh inning and finished the game with five stolen bases.

Game 2 – Three Rivers 4, Crowder 0 (April 16)

Crowder was held to one hit in the nightcap as Three Rivers evened the series.

Spencer Mounce recorded Crowder’s lone hit with a double, while the Roughriders drew six walks but could not push a run across. On the mound, Kaden Felan threw two scoreless innings, and Pierce Yates finished strong with 2.2 shutout innings in relief.

Despite the loss, Crowder pitching limited Three Rivers to just four hits and two earned runs.

Game 3 – Crowder 11, Three Rivers 1 (April 17)

Crowder responded emphatically in the series opener on Friday, scoring 11 runs in the first three innings to run-rule Three Rivers.

Maddox Morrison led the offensive charge, going 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while William Beaudoin drove in two runs and scored twice. Crowder capitalized on early mistakes and stayed aggressive throughout the game.

On the mound, Micah Henson delivered one of the weekend’s most dominant performances, striking out 11 batters in five innings while allowing just one run.

Game 4 – Crowder 10, Three Rivers 5 (10 innings, April 17)

Crowder closed the series with an extra-inning thriller, scoring five runs over the final three innings to pull away for a 10–5 victory.

Camren Stratton paced the offense with two hits and two RBIs, while Spencer Mounce added a pair of RBIs and reached base four times. William Beaudoin chipped in two hits, two runs, and an RBI as Crowder totaled 11 hits.

After early scoring chances for Three Rivers, the Crowder bullpen took control. Sawyer Owens was dominant in relief, tossing four scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out four to earn the win.
