Laytham earns soccer post season honors

RE: Roughrider Men’s Soccer players honored
Neosho, MO - After winning the Region 16 Championship, the Roughrider Men’s Soccer team had players recognized for their performance. Silas Laytham (Carthage) was named Region 16 Player of the Year; 1st team all region 16 players included Paul Reh (Germany)& Leonard Oster (Germany).
Laytham was also named to the National Junior College Athletic Association D1 3rd team All-American. Laytham had 15 goals and 5 assists this season. He is the second player in Crowder College Men’s Soccer to earn All-American player status.
"We're extremely proud of Silas for earning All-American honors,” stated Hunter Gilliam, Head Men’s & Women’s Soccer Coach. “Silas has been a standout for us all season, and we are thrilled to see his hard work recognized on the national stage. His dedication to constant improvement sets him apart and will have a long-lasting impact on our program. We are honored to have been part of his development and look forward to everything he will continue to achieve."
The Roughriders finished the season 8-6-4 with Coach Gilliam in his first season as head coach.
