Crowder Women’s Basketball Pulls Away Late for 75–58 Road Win at Moberly

MOBERLY, Mo. — Crowder College used a strong second-half surge to earn a 75–58 victory over Moberly Area Community College on Saturday afternoon at Fitzsimmons-John Arena.

The Roughriders led 18–15 after the opening quarter, but Moberly answered in the second period to take a 31–26 advantage into halftime. Crowder responded coming out of the break, outscoring the Greyhounds 25–12 in the third quarter to seize control of the game. The visitors carried that momentum into the fourth, adding 24 more points to secure the road win.

Balanced scoring fueled the Crowder attack, with four players reaching double figures. Aubri Wilson and Lexie Henry each scored 14 points to lead the way. Wilson added five assists and four rebounds, while Henry chipped in five assists as well. Abbey Green was efficient inside, finishing with 12 points and five rebounds, and Camdyn Hart added 11 points while knocking down three three-pointers.

Barbara Perandini and Mia Robbins provided key perimeter scoring, each connecting on three shots from beyond the arc. Robbins finished with nine points off the bench, while Perandini added nine points, three assists, and two steals. Cecilia Scarpatti contributed on the glass with six rebounds to go along with six points.

Crowder finished the game with 22 assists on 27 made field goals and forced 26 turnovers, which led to 34 points. The Roughriders shot 34.6 percent from the field and made 13 three-pointers on the afternoon.

With the win, Crowder improves to 13-4 and 1-0 in Region 16 play.  The Roughriders return home on Wednesday to take on Mineral Area at 6:00 PM.
